Beverly Hills Hair Color - Brighton Blonde

Beverly Hills Hair Color - Brighton Blonde

At Brighton Salon in Beverly Hills, color is a specialty and a red-hot passion.
Today we are going to discuss blonde. Blonde hair is more complex than it seems at a first glance, and has at least a hundred different shades.

This includes: ash blonde, bright platinum blonde, ginger blonde, caramel blonde, icy-cold blonde, classic saturated yellow, nearly-brown blonde, deep bombshell-toned blonde, butterscotch blonde, grown-out blonde (brown top that fades downward to blonde), strawberry blonde, deep golden honey blonde, sun-kissed blonde, subtle frosted blonde, cleanly-dignified medium blonde, cloudless beige blonde, polished balayage blonde, ombre blonde, aubergine blonde, soft mousse blonde, vivid streaked-with-any-color blonde, the list is endless!

If you really want to know, yes, we can do them all at +Brighton Salon.

The 4-1-1 on damage from hair coloring:

At Brighton Salon, we maximize pre-care and post-care when it comes to hair coloring to prevent any damage from even occurring.
Here's how it works:
- For one, we never accept a client for coloring if we feel their hair is not ready. Coloring can be very stressful for the hair, so in this case we maximize pre-care, conditioning, and re-nourishment for the hair and tell the client he/she must return at another time. We never push unnecessary or early hair treatments.
- For all hair treatments at Brighton Salon, we use state-of-the-art, leading edge +Oribe Hair Care, +Kerastase, and +Shu Uemura shampoo and conditioners. For color, each of these luxury brands manufacture extra-specialized shampoo and conditioner for color-treated hair and hair that is about to be color-treated. Our certified and highly-trained stylists will know exactly what to do, so don't you worry!
- When coloring, we use leading and exceptional +Wella line. This special line has zero sulfates, parabens, and artificial colorants so you know that you're getting the best. Even better, Wella offers up to 10x keratin protection than conventional treatments which prevents the drying of the hair and adds super strength to your fibers. (Keratin is the natural protein that builds hair, nails, and a majority of the skin, thus it's an ideal product for strengthening and nourishing hair!).
- Brighton Salon offers an exclusive, scientific breakthrough Fusio-Kertatin treatment by Kerastase that is highly recommended for damaged hair and before harsh treatments such as coloring. It's ah-mazing!
- When coloring, the hair shaft is opened due to chemical treatments (no matter how gentle, opening the shaft is essential for the hair to absorb the color). In all hair color treatments, the cuticle must be raised for the color to fully penetrate. Think of it like a tree and its bark. The bark is not meant to come off. But when/if it does, it must be rebuilt powerfully. This is why we highly recommend our line of masques, especially after coloring. Our luxe and progressive Oribe, Shu Uemura, and Kerastase masques effectively reseal the cuticle with the desired hair color so that it lasts longer and damage is prevented with protective reinforcements. All our masques are creams, not oils, so they penetrate and encase the shaft more deeply and for a longer time. Highly, highly recommended!

Special Coloring Tips:

- The lighter you go, the more damage occurs. This is because with darker hair, your natural color must be stripped away before the actual color treatment comes in! Thus it is even more critical that you spend extra care re-nourishing and re-fortifying the hair if you are going for a lighter color. If you're going for a lighter color, additional add-in products become a must.
- With hair coloring, you must be precisely careful with preventing damage. This is due to the fact that it is extremely difficult to repair color-damaged hair (if at all) and usually you can only reduce the appearance of the damage, but not the damage itself. This is why you must prevent it in the first place!
