Makeup in Beverly Hills: What We Use and The Benefits Part 2.

Then we also use Concealers, really heavy and thick foundations to really hide our skin flaws like dark circles or splotches that the foundation couldn't cover. With two options you really can't go wrong in the concealing department.

Pot Concealer- This is a very heavy feeling cream based concealer. Pot concealers really provide the BEST coverage. Good for all skin types, but if you are on the sensitive side, I would recommend that you use as little as possible or find a non-comedogenic type.

Powder is a translucent, or colorless, powder cosmetic that we use to add a matt or dull finish. There are different brands of powder, but they either add dull or matte finish to the skin. Recommended to use as a "setting powder" when you are fully finished with your entire face.

Blush and Bronzers. We all use them. Typically to make our cheek bones more pronounced.

Blush- Blush is a colored pressed or loose powder ranging in the pink and red shades to provide color to the face and cheeks.

Bronzers- Bronzers are also pressed or loose powders that provide color to the face and cheeks, but bronzers offer something a little extra. Bronzers provide your face with color yes, but they also provide the skin with a natural glow.

Lip colors!!!! This is a wide range topic seeing as there's lipsticks, lip glosses, lip glazes, lip balms, etc. The options are endless. Find your desired shade and apply. I recommend picking a shade that best compliments both your skin tone and eye color.

We use eyeliners to make the eyes appear larger. With a few different types, this is another product that you can't go wrong with. Liquid, Gel and Pencil eyeliners are available in many different colors and shades. You would want to pick a color that will emphasize and enhance your eye color.  But some tips when using eyeliner:

    - Eye pencils should never be used on the inner rim of the eye.
    - Eye pencils and sharpeners should be sanitized after each use.
    - To apply color on a line close to the lash line for a softer effect use eyeshadow.

Eyebrows are always a puzzle to some. To clarify, eyebrows are sisters, not twins. They are not supposed to be identical as they are based off of your natural brow bone arch. Also, the color you choose to fill in your brow with should not contrast between the hair and eyebrow color. Always make sure to use an angled brush to apply eyebrow shadow.

Stay tuned for Part 3 in our Makeup Benefits series where we'll be talking about Eye Colors, Eye Shadows, Color Theory & Complimenting Colors for your natural eye color.
